Location 60 miles North of Fort MacMurray, Alberta. The scope of work complete March 2009. Duration 24 months. Mechanical - The installation for unit 42 (Gas oil Hydrotreater) and Unit 43 (Distillate Hydrotreater) Pipe fabrication and erection, structural steel erection, equipment setting, fireproofing and insulation. Instrumentation & Electrical - Installation of cable tray, conduit, wire, cable and electric heat tracing (EHT). Testing and loop checking of all instruments, wire and cable. Storage Tanks - Erection of 4 storage tanks units 41,42, 43 and 48 (52m diameter X 18m height) complete with internal coatings and external insulation.

Manpower: Average - 1,285 and Peak - 3,500. Workforce was combination of indigenous Canadian labour and foreign component. Canadian (80%): 47% Eastern Provinces, 53% Western Provinces. Foreign (20%): 75% India, 25% Others (Phillipines, Poland, Venezuela, South Africa).
